Jerry Michael Cunupp

Mr. Jerry Michael Cunupp, 72, of Kershaw passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home. He was born October 16, 1948 in Rock Hill, a son of the late Rue Jackson Cunupp and Ruth Florene Sisk Cunupp. Mr. Cunupp was in the carnival business his entire life. He was the owner of JC’s Concessions. For years Mr. Cunupp worked all the parades in South and North Carolina providing cotton candy and candy apples. He also sold produce in Kershaw.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cunupp will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Ayers officiating.Mr. Cunupp is survived by a son, Benjamin Michael Cunupp of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Lori Pannell and her husband John of Rock Hill; a sister, Lois Ellen Tucker of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Jonathan Pannell and Billy Pannell; three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Yosha Cunupp of Lugoff and Shirley Cunupp of Ormand Beach, FL; special nieces and caregivers, Linda Pittman and Dana Campbell; nieces, Gwenda Barton, June Cunupp Shouse, Teresa Hall and Marsha Cunupp; and two nephews, Franklin David Cunupp, Jr. and Danny Ray Pittman.
