Jerry Eugene Cauthen Jr.

Mr. Jerry Eugene Cauthen, Jr., 47, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at CMC Pineville. He was born April 26, 1970 in Lancaster, a son of the late Jerry Eugene Cauthen, Sr. and Christine Knight Rollings. Mr. Cauthen loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cauthen will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 7 pm at New Life Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Pate officiating. Mr. Cauthen is survived by three sisters, Tammy Pettit and her husband Steve and Jackie Cauthen and her husband Fuzzy all of Lancaster, and Pamela LaFosse and her husband Jerry of Douglasville, GA; a step sister, Lisa Roberson and her husband Clayton of Kershaw; a step-brother, Jamie Burr and his wife Charity of Heath Springs; and 12 nieces and nephews, Brandon Starnes, Summer Short, Paige Pettit, Ray Reed, Kylie LaFosse, Katelyn Little, Caleb Little, Taylor Burr, Andie Grace Roberson, Druw Rolling, Ansleigh Starnes and Lexis Roberson.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at New Life Freewill Baptist Church and other times at the home of Jackie and Fuzzy, 833 Wisteria Way, Lancaster.Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Freewill Baptist Church, 1622 Springdale Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Cauthen.Read Obituary
