Jean Funderburk Lloyd

Mrs. Jean Funderburk Lloyd, 70, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home. She was born February 3, 1952 in Monroe, a daughter of the late Allen Lee Funderburk and Juanita Cooper Pope. Mrs. Lloyd was one of the original telephone operators at Lancaster Telephone Company. She retired from Comporium after 37½ years of service.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lloyd will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryant Blakley officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband William “Bill” Lloyd of Lancaster; two sons, Allen Lloyd and his wife Lisa and Billy Lloyd and his wife Leslie all of Lancaster; a daughter, Kim Kirkley and her husband Rodney of Jefferson; two brothers, Richard Funderburk and his wife Valerie and Scott Pope and his wife Vickie all of Lancaster; five sisters, Joan Harrell, Kay Tarlton and her significant other Keith, Wanda Moser and her husband James, Lynn Funderburk and her husband Chuck and Tammy Ellis and her husband Todd all of Lancaster; and six grandchildren, (Maw Maw’s M&M’s) Madison, Makayla, Max, Mikel, Maddilyn and Mayleigh.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Springhill Baptist Church and other times at the home of Billy and Leslie, 1631 Old Camden Monroe Hwy., Lancaster.Memorial contributions may be made to New Horizon Community Church Roof Fund, P.O.
