Janet Newton Robinson

Mrs. B. Janet Newton Robinson, 76, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at CMC-Pineville. She was born October 21, 1942, in Andrews, SC, a daughter of the late Warren Leo Newton and Eunice Cothran Newton. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. She was devoted to Leon and her family.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Robinson will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Leon Clyde Robinson, of Lancaster; a son, Michael Leon Robinson of Irmo, SC; two daughters, Patti Robinson Vincent and her husband Tony of Blythewood, SC, and Jan Robinson Everett and her husband Lance of Pickton, TX; three grandchildren, Lauren Vincent Thomas and her husband Matthew, Ryan Matthew Vincent and his wife Elisa, and Drew Williams; and a great-grandson, Owen Thomas. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Peyton Williams; four brothers, Marion Lee Newton, James Leavey Newton, Jack Warren Newton and Johnny Wilson Newton; and five sisters, Elizabeth Lee Newton Reed, Eunice Lucille Newton Byrdic, Annie Mae Newton Cook, Lenora Jane Newton Morris, and Lula Evonne Newton.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, 1697 N.
