Mr. James Stogner, 89, of Lancaster, widower of Mary Rosemond Stogner, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Atrium Main in Charlotte. He was born August 4, 1932 in Lancaster, a son of the late Barkley Stogner and Flonnie Mae Carnes Stogner. Mr. Stogner loved to watch westerns and game shows and loved to help others and be outdoors. He also loved to read his bible.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Stogner will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. from the graveside at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Braswell officiating. Mr. Stogner is survived by two sons, James David Stogner and his wife Cynthia and Scott Stogner and his wife Lisa all of Lancaster; a daughter, Sheila McManus and her husband John of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Ward; and a granddaughter, Candice Knight.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Stogner.
