James Frederick Rouner

Mr. James Frederick Rouner, 80, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his home. He was born October 4, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a son of the late Harry Corbet Rouner and Evelyn Kimbro Rouner. Mr. Rouner had retired from the US Navy.The family will host a service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rouner on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill McCown officiating. Burial will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.Mr. Rouner is survived by his wife, Constance Ann Carter Rouner; a son, Douglas E. Rouner and his wife Anita of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a daughter, Cynthia Rouner Fisher and her husband Steve of Cumming, Georgia; a brother, Gerald Rouner and his wife Erna of Mustang, Oklahoma; a sister, Kathy Munsell and her husband Jackie of Mustang, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and a brother in law, Allen Carter and his wife Kathleen of Midland, NC.The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at St. Luke United Methodist Church.Memorial contributions may be made to Duke University VAD Program, DUMC Box 3932, Durham, NC 27710.
