James Daryl Roney

Mr. James Daryl Roney, 59, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his home. He was born February 9, 1962 in Lancaster, a son of the late George Roney and Frances Marlene McManus Roney. Mr. Roney was a self-employed business owner dealing in Real Estate. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with each member. Mr. Roney enjoyed sports and was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He also loved to fish when time permitted. Mr. Roney was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Roney will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Lambert officiating. Burial will be private.Mr. Roney is survived by his wife, Lori Outen Roney of Lancaster; three daughters, Crystal Adams and her husband Michael, Chelsea Arant and her husband Justin all of Lancaster and Hayley Roberts and her husband Kurt of Kershaw; two brothers, Joey Roney and his wife Cathy and Ricky Roney and his wife Tracy all of Lancaster; and one sister, Cindy Roney of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Annabeth Adams, Wyatt Adams, Lawson Adams, Mallory Roberts and Gatlin Roberts; and one grandchild, Austyn Arant on the way.
