Mr. James Robert Mobley, Jr., 58, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born January 11, 1964 in Lancaster, a son of the late James Robert Mobley, Sr. and Nancy Robbins Mobley. James was always happiest when riding his Harley and enjoyed going to the river with friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Mobley will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Mr. Rudy Carter officiating. Mr. Mobley is survived by a sister, Barbara Edwards of Meggett, SC; an aunt, Beverly Mobley; and an uncle, William Harper. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Lancaster Funeral Home. James Mobley Jr, my 1st cousin was a great man. I will always remember our Summers at the River, him and Barb teaching me how to water ski and avoid the snakes. He also taught me how to fish and clean catfish. Yuk! He is now with our granny as he called her, grandad and his parents. Aunt JoAnn sends her condolences.
