Mr. James Denton, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill. He was born October 24, 1946 in Lancaster, S.C, a son of the late Albert Denton and Sallie H. Denton.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Denton will be held Sunday March 3, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Frank Jordan officiating. Burial will be private.Mr. Denton loved to play golf. He was also very much at home on the dance floor and he love to dance. Mr. Denton is survived by a son Gregory James Denton (Janet), a daughter Angie Boger (Kevin), two brothers Gene Denton (Sheila), Alvin Denton (Vickie), three sisters Joann Mungo (Ray), Margie Whitt, Barbara Horton seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
