Jackie Adams West

Mrs. Jackie Adams West, 72, of Lancaster, widow of Ervin Mitchelle “Mickey” West passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1949 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William Franklin Adams and Mattie Kathleen Robinson Adams. She was a former member of East Side Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. West will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Heartland Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Johnson and Rev. Donald W. Tillman officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. West is survived by a daughter, Cindy Donahue and her husband Dale of Greer; a brother, Rick Adams and his wife Brenda of Fort Lawn; four sisters, Linda Stevens and her husband Buddy, Gail Corder, Betty Jean Wright and her husband Gene and Charlene Hargett and her husband Ken all of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Stacey Boone, Wayne Boone and his wife, Kathryn “Katie”, Daniel Donahue and Blaise Perkins; two great grandchildren, Riley Boone and Gracie Boone; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. West was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchel Franklin “Mickey” Adams and a sister, Patty Wallace.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home, 804 Sowell Street, Lancaster.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. West.Read Obituary
