Jack David Lane

Mr. Jack David Lane, 65, of Rock Hill, widower of Kay Ford Lane, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at his home. He was born May 1, 1954 in Lancaster, a son of the late J. W. Lane and Annie Louise Allen Lane. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Lane enjoyed woodworking in his shop, playing pool, going out to eat at the Waffle House and watching TV. He loved spending time with his family.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Lane will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Woodard officiating. Mr. Lane is survived by a son, Tony Lane and his wife Heather of Rock Hill; a daughter, Tina Lane of Clover; two brothers, Allan Lane and his wife Mary and Donnie Lane all of Lancaster; two sisters, Ann Lane Ingram and Marcene Lane both of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Davin Lane, Conner Lane, Thomas Rice, Jr., Corey Rice and Kristany Bratton.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ann L.
