Irma June Carlton Rickman

Mrs. Irma June Carlton Rickman, 85, of Lancaster, widow of Alton Davis Rickman, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home. She was born August 21, 1935 in Scranton, PA, a daughter of the late June Cisco Carlton and Esther Bray Carlton. Mrs. Rickman was a former dental assistant. She previously worked at Kanawha and was an accountant for ALCAR. Mrs. Rickman attended New Life Freewill Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rickman will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Anders officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Rickman is survived by two sons, James Allen Rickman and his wife Becky of Andrews and Billy Davis Rickman and his wife Judy of Camden; two brothers, James Bidwell Carlton and his wife Juanita of Virginia and Stanley Carlton and his wife Carol of Concord; four grandchildren, Rebecca Cooper, Jessica Roberts, Kenneth Davis Rickman and Corey James Rickman; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan Grey Moon, Harper Ann Brueck, Hadlee J. Brueck and Peyton Cooper. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Kennington; two brothers, Maynard Carlton and Norman Carlton; and three sisters, Hazel Hutchinson, Marguerite Hodder and Jewel Vandruff.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Rickman.Read Obituary
