Harold Nelson "Coot" Pardue

Mr. Harold Nelson “Coot” Pardue, 82, of Heath Springs passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at his home. He was born September 5, 1937 in Lancaster, a son of the late Jesse Lee Pardue and Wilma Clontz Pardue. Mr. Pardue was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He retired from Springs Industries after 47 years of service. Mr. Pardue loved to be outside working on old cars and small engines and also watching TV. He always tried to help people in need and he loved his fur baby. Mr. Pardue especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Pardue will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Williams and Rev.Norman Dobson, Jr. officiating. Burial will be private. Mr. Pardue is survived by his daughter, Lezah P. Allen of Heath Springs; four grandchildren, Jessica Funderburk, Christy Pardue, Savannah Pardue and Hunter Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Jordyn Knight and Camden Bradley; a brother, James Ted Pardue and his wife Betty of Lancaster; and a sister; Maxine Efrid and her friend Rob of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Nelson Pardue; a grandson, Joseph Michael Pardue; a brother, Jesse Lee Pardue, Jr.; and four sisters, Joyce Hudson, Shelby Starnes, Dianne Hinson and Peggy Knight.
