Glenn Gardner

Mr. Glenn Gardner, 85, of Lancaster passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at White Oak Manor. He was born May 2, 1932 in Lancaster, a son of the late George Washington “Booze” Gardner and Lillian Shaw Gardner. Mr. Gardner was a US Navy Korean War Veteran. Mr. Gardner loved his family and his fur baby Ella. He was a devoted Clemson fan. Mr. Gardner loved spending time outdoors and was an avid John Wayne fan. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Gardner will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 3 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry DeVinney officiating. The family request that all those who attend the service, wear Clemson attire. Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Brackett Gardner of Lancaster; a son, William Todd Gardner and his wife Tiana of Rock Hill; a daughter, Dana Lynn Gardner of Lancaster; a brother, Phillip Thomas “Jack” Gardner of Kershaw; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by a brother George Nolan Gardner; and a sister, Teal Gardner Dorman. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. February Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1796 Hollybrook Lane, Lancaster.
