Mrs. Glenda Faye Jenkins Catoe, 74, of Lancaster, widow of James Kenneth Catoe, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1947 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Ruppert Percival Jenkins and Mary Louise Threatt Jenkins.No services will be held per Mrs. Catoe’s request.Mrs. Catoe is survived by two sons, David Wayne Catoe of Lancaster, Robert Brian Catoe of Morro Bay, California; a daughter, Julie Allison Catoe of Lancaster; two sisters, Mary J. Sims and Brenda K. Robertson both of Lancaster; and one grandchild, Kendra Elyse Catoe of Lancaster. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Catoe was preceded in death by a brother, Michael R. I spent a large part of my childhood running around Glenda's house with Julie. Sometimes she probably wondered if I had secretly moved in. She was always the sweetest woman and I have very fond memories that include her in them. My sympathy to Julie, Brian and David, as well as the extended family that I don't personally know. I am certain that she will be missed.
