Gayle Bowers Lucas Faulkenberry

Mrs. Gayle Bowers Lucas Faulkenberry, 69, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at her home. She was born September 9, 1952 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Jarrett Bowers and Mary Jane Greene Bowers. Mrs. Faulkenberry attended Pleasant Dale Baptist Church and loved to sing in the church choir. She was an executive secretary at Springs Industries with 30 years of service. Mrs. Faulkenberry loved gardening and working in her flowers. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and one of a kind grammy.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Faulkenberry will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Adams and Rev. Todd Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by her husband, Marty Faulkenberry of Lancaster; three daughters, Christi Gardner, Amanda Scott and her husband Benji and Charlotte Cloud and her husband Travious all of Lancaster; two brothers, Dennis Bowers and his wife Lillian of Semora, NC and Joe Bowers and his wife Tempie of Columbia; and nine grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Madelynn, Kamryn, Piper, Karter, Colton, Kole and Kane.
