Franklin Lee Starnes

Mr. Franklin Lee Starnes, 78, of Lancaster passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home. He was born August 26, 1943 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Curtis Lee Starnes and Mary Pittman Starnes. Mr. Starnes had retired from Springs Industries and worked part time at Bi-Lo. He was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran. He loved to fish. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Starnes will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Vivian Boyd officiating. Mr. Starnes is survived by a son, Antonio Starnes of Lancaster; a daughter, Denise (Phillip) Deaton of Lancaster; a brother, Curtis Lee Starnes, Jr. of Gaffney; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Starnes was preceded in death by a son, Dewey Starnes.
