Mrs. Eunice Adams Plyler, 98, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home. She was born January 30, 1924 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Benjamin Jefferson Adams and Maurice Catoe Adams. Mrs. Plyler was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and had worked at Value Pak on Main Street.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Plyler will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Mellicamp officiating.Mrs. Plyler is survived by two sons, Donald Eugene Plyler (Vernie) and Jerry Leon Plyler (Tammy) all of Lancaster; two daughters, Katherine Ann Hunter (Jesse) and Gail Elaine Houser (Johnny) all of Lancaster; two sisters, Annie Ghent (Roddey) and Alice Steele all of Lancaster; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Neal Plyler; a daughter, Freda Kay Snipes; four brothers, Yancy Adams, William Adams, Joe Adams and T. J. Adams; and three sisters, Dot Puco, Alma Catoe, and Jessie Faye Cauthen.The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Plyler.Read Obituary

Katherine and Gail, may you fine your peace and comfort in our Lord. For over year you put your lives on hold to faithfully care for your Mom’s every need. You two are so much like her. Praying for you and the family.

Always enjoyed my time playing at Ms.Eunice's when we were young. She could always make me laugh while she got us to help shell her butter beans! I didn't even realize it was work.
