Elizabeth Francis Hunter, 5, of Kershaw passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Agape Hospice House of The Midlands. She was born November 19, 2015 in Lancaster, a daughter of Jason Darryl Hunter and Amber K. Catoe Hunter. A service to celebrate the life of Elizabeth will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Elizabeth is survived by her father, Jason D. Hunter, Sr. of Kershaw; her mother, Amber K. Catoe Hunter of Kershaw; a brother, JJ Hunter of Kershaw; two sisters, Courtney Hunter and Maddie Hunter both of Kershaw; four aunts, Melissa Walters and her husband Michael and Shontee` Hargett all of Rock Hill and Kimberly Nordqvist and her husband Alex of Sweden and Tiffany Catoe of Kershaw; and uncle, Austin Catoe of Kershaw; maternal grandmother, Dora Lee Catoe of Kershaw; maternal grandfather, Joey Catoe of Kershaw; paternal grandfather, Jerry Hunter of Kershaw; and paternal grandmother, Cynthia Bearden of Myrtle Beach. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home. Notes to the family may be made at www.lancasterfuneralhome.com. I did not know this child but I followed her journey and prayed for her and her family. I am so sorry about her passing and you are continued in my thoughts and prayers as you yourselves began a new season of your lives. Judy Maree

So sorry for your loss. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Lizzy but I can see how much love this beautiful little girl has from her family and friends. My heart goes out to you all. May God be with you.
We were terribly saddened by the death of Lizzy. We never knew her or you personally but we followed your journey from day one. Our hearts are with you and our prayers for strength and healing are being sent as we speak.

I never got to meet this beautiful baby girl in person but all the photos that melissa shared got me very close to her and those were the best memories I got of her. I feel like I have known her forever, with all the sharing from her wonderful aunt!!
