Rev. Durante McWhirter Pardue

Pastor Durante was a Saint. I treasure each memory I have of him and each sermon I listened to him preach. He devoted his whole life to studying and teaching the Word of God. No one was nor will there ever be another Durante. He was one in a million. He was full of wisdom and the Word. He was truly anointed. He married my Mother and he preached her funeral. He was ready in season and out. He was always ready to pray the prayer of faith for us his parishioners. When he laid his hands on you to pray the anointing was so strong most of the time I ended up slain in the spirit. My husband and I loved him truly like a Brother. He was always accessible. Durante loved his family and spoke of you almost every week. Dee, Chuck and Gary were always in his thoughts. He took great joy in his family and us his church family. Durante will be greatly missed by us all. But oh what a joyous time he is having in Heaven with his family and most of all with Jesus. Rest easy Durante. Your work here is done🙏

First of all , we would like to send our love and prayers to Chuck and Dee and all the family. We love you! We will miss him dearly. But we know where he is! He is with the Lord in heaven and we will see him again there. Pastor Durante was an amazing son, brother, uncle, pastor and a friend to many people. We were honored to be his friend. He was like a brother to me. Durante loved the Lord! and committed his life to serving HIM! He was a diligent student of the Word of God and taught with profound simplicity. He was an anointed teacher in the body of Christ and many were blessed through his ministry. He loved his Lord, his family and friends and his church congregation. We are grateful for our friendship and fellowship with Pastor Durante Pardue.
