Dora Ann McManus Roberts

Mrs. Dora Ann McManus Roberts, 67, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at her home. She was born October 29, 1950 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late JD McManus and Eula Mae Neely McManus. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with each one and especially her grandchildren.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roberts will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Crawford Roberts of Lancaster; two daughters, Amy Roberts McAnally and Joni Roberts Howell and her husband Corey all of Lancaster; a brother, Kenneth McManus and his wife Brenda of Lancaster; three sisters, Linda Boyd, Geraldine “Deannie” Plyler and her husband Dewey and Judy Starnes and her husband Marvin all of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Gracie and Jacob McAnally, Emma and Ava Howell; and a special niece, Lisa Plyler Hodge. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard “Ricky” McManus and Michael McManus.
