Donza Lee Alford

Mr. Donza Lee Alford, 81, of Lancaster, widower of Nancy Starnes Alford, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 20, 1940 in Aynor, SC, a son of the late Branty Alford and Rose Allen Alford. Mr. Alford retired from Springs Industries after 40 years of service, He enjoyed fishing and bluegrass music. He was always happiest when he was helping others.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Alford will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Dr. Jessie Adams officiating.Mr. Alford is survived by a daughter, Donna McManus and her husband Phil of Lancaster; a brother, Roger Lee Alford and his wife Debbie of Galivants Ferry; a sister, Rosie Lewis of Loris; two grandchildren, Bre Stroud and her husband Sean and Justin McManus and his fiancé Callie; and two great grandchildren, Nolan Stroud and Raelyn Stroud. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Alford was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Alford; two brothers, Lester Alford and Junior Alford; and a sister, Eloise Johnson.The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Alford.Read Obituary
