Dolores Eugenia Taylor Small

Mrs. Dolores Eugenia Taylor Small, 85, of Heath Springs, wife of James Ford Small, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home. She was born July 8, 1932 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Everette Jefferson Taylor and Nellie Azalee Rowell Taylor. Mrs. Small was a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church and the Antioch Chapter 291, Order of the Eastern Star and had retired from Founders Federal Credit Union. She was a graduate of Anderson College, Class of 1952. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Small will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Rich Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Rod Yow officiating. Burial will be in the Rich Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Small is survived by her husband, James Ford Small; a son, James Ford Small, Jr. of Columbia; three daughters, Tracy Janelle Small Robinson and her husband Frankie of Castle Hayne, NC, Alice Marie Small Balentine and her husband Jason of Greenwood, and Josie Eugenia Small Pate and her husband Wes of Rock Hill; and five grandchildren, Gryphon Balentine, Ford Small, Kayleigh Wood, Howell Wood and Tyler Pate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dempsey Taylor. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home.
