Diann Edwards Teague

Mrs. Diann Edwards Teague, 78, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Wayne T. Patrick House in Rock Hill. She was born December 13, 1943 in Rutherfordton, NC, a daughter of the late Gilmer Allen Edwards and Nancy Malena Logan Edwards. Mrs. Teague received a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University and a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. On August 14, 1965 she married Wade Wesley Teague. They were married for 46 years before his death. She worked 38 years in public education and retired as the principal of the Applied Technology Center in Rock Hill, SC. After her retirement she continued to work at Teague’s Pawnshop, the family business.Mrs. Teague is survived by three loving children, son, Ryan and Angie Teague, son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Deana Teague and daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Billy Russell. She had six loving grandchildren, Sidney, Samantha, Brooke, Rylan, Taylor and Wesley. She is also survived by a brother, Allen Edwards and his wife Norma of Knoxville, TN; and three sisters, Rebecca Barrier and her husband Jimmy of Summerville, SC, Susan Crocker and her husband Mark of Isle of Palms, SC and Lesa Banks and her husband Kelly of Spartanburg.The family suggests that memorials be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Suite102, 205 Regency Executive Park Drive, Charlotte, NC 28127, and/or United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburg, PA 15239, and/or Mt.
