Mr. David Lee Blake, 86, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. He was born August 25, 1935 in Greensboro, NC, a son of the late Barney Allen Blake and Lara Esther Kennett. Mr. Blake had been a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Greensboro. He had retired as a screen printer, Cone Mills Proximity Printworks and Grace Screen Print. He enjoyed repairing and restoring old clocks.Mr. Blake is survived by his wife, Edna Paisley Blake; three sons, Daniel E. Blake, and his wife Tammy, Christopher D. Blake and his wife Karen all of Fort Lawn and Michael D. Blake and his wife Sadielean of Jefferson; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, J. Ogburn Blake, Marshall W. Blake, and Bill Blake; and a sister, Nancy Jones.The family will receive friends Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Blake.
