Darlene Hunter Helms

Mrs. Darlene Hunter Helms, 66, of Lancaster passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Atrium Health in Charlotte. She was born March 30, 1954 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Herman Kelly Hunter and Irene Wheeler Hunter Bowers and married to Billy Ray Helms. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Helms will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2 p.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Brad Kirkley officiating.Mrs. Helms is survived by her husband Billy Ray Helms of the home; one son, Brian Helms (Ashley) of Lancaster; one daughter, Stacey Kirkley (Brad) of Lancaster; four grandchildren Breana Helms and fiancé Dylan Crenshaw, Logan Jaillette, Harper Grace Kirkley and Ivy Willow Helms; one sister, Elaine “Sis” Melton of Lancaster.
