Charlie Odell Belk

Charlie Odell Belk, 50, of York passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born August 19, 1970 in Lancaster, a son of the late Charles Douglas Belk and Vernell Ellis Belk. Mr. Belk enjoyed life and had interest in many areas. In his younger years he was a semi-pro wrestler. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and he also enjoyed racing. Mr. Belk was also an energetic Clemson football fan. He was devoted to his family and dearly loved his fiancé, children, brothers, sister and grandchild.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Belk will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Anders and Rev. John Belk officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Belk is survived by his fiancé, Jessamyn Slaughter of York; two sons, John Belk of Lancaster and Tyler Belk of Greenville; three daughters, Kelly Hanks and her wife Ashley Hanks, Kayra Slaughter and Dolly Ann Belk all of York; two brothers, Billy Joe Belk and Ronald Belk and his wife Annette all of Lancaster; a sister, Debra Ann Terry of Great Falls; and a grandchild, London.
