There will never be another Snooks! He was a friend and a brother in Christ! Soon to be gone on to his heavenly home, one year ago. He brought joy and laughter everywhere he was. I still miss hearing that laugh of his at Springdell church. He sat behind me at church, and sometimes you had to remember not to laugh out loud, when Snooks was sitting behind you. Rest in peace my friend, until we are all together again and praising our Lord for eternity! You are so missed from our congregration!!

Sherri, I remember working in City Drug Store on Saturdays while in college. Snooks would come in, take a seat, and was just the kindest man, you could ever meet. I would laugh at Snooks, Betty Clue, Ira Bell, and Margarit Howard sitting at the lunch counter just enjoying life! As one gentlemen said, there will never be another Snooks.

My heart breaks for you. I pray God will comfort you in this time of sorrow and bless you with wonderful memories of Snooks!

Thinking of you,

Thoughts and love to the family. As a young child I have memories of attending fun birthday parties for Snooks, the only parties held at a funeral home. I especially remember his loving mother.
Snooks was a fun living character growing up , always smiling and friendly. Jane Carroll and Jimmy Barton

To Hazel & Kay, we were saddened to hear of Snooks’ passing. For those of us our age, Snooks was a legend driving an ambulance and that Corvette burning rubber in fourth gear coming out of the Pit Stop on Meeting Street. I recall he was funny with a quick smile. His memory will live on forever in those of us privileged to know him.

My heart breaks for the family of this sweet man. I’ve rented from him for almost 5 years, and every single month he would try to load me down with candy for my kids and coupons. He never met a stranger and was so kind hearted. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. My thoughts & prayers go out to his wife and family.
