Bettie and family, my husband, Bill Sumner, had become friends with Charlie, through the Monday morning men's prayer breakfast. Bill thought very highly him and now they are together again. May God put his ever loving arms around you and give you peace during the days that lie ahead.

Dear Bettie and the whole Cheney Family,
I am sure there is a big void in your life due to his passing. However I hope you are able to find peace and comfort during this difficult time. Charlies love for the Lord and his family was evident in everything he did. Over the years I have never met such a wonderful person. Brother Charlie was always such a joy to be around. I must say I loved that Man and all of you should be very proud because they do not make them like that anymore. It is said that when one passes all anyone would like to hear is that he was a good man. Charlie was more than a good man he was a great man and much more. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. May God be with all of you during this time.

Love, Ken Broughton
