Mr. Charles Morrison Brazzell, Sr., 79, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his home. He was born January 4, 1941 in Lancaster, a son of the late Wylie Jesse Brazzell, Jr. and Nancy Dorothy Gardner Brazzell.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Brazzell will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at New Life Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Pate officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.Mr. Brazzell is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Harless Brazzell of Cassatt; two sons, Chuck Brazzell and his wife Connie and Mark Brazzell and his girlfriend Beth Thompson all of Lancaster; a step daughter Kathy Boykin and her husband Kevin of Lancaster; a brother, Paul Brazzell of Tarboro, NC; two sisters, Jean Baker and her husband Wayne of Lancaster and Judy Mackey and her husband Bill of Lugoff; five grandchildren, Miranda Brazzell, Kelly Lowery, Nicole Brazzell, Brandon Brazzell and Josh Shirley; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Scott Brazzell; a daughter, Debbie Sue Patterson; and a step-daughter, Loni Dinkens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at New Life Free Will Baptist Church.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Brazzell.Read Obituary

I was real close to Pawpaw Brazell...I remember my daddy taking me and my brother to the gas station he worked at to see him. I loved going to see him and playing with him. Im going to miss you so much Pawpaw!!!!
