Mrs. Cathy W. Brooks, 66, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at MUSC Lancaster. She was born May 20, 1954 in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Icie Seabolt Wilson. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brooks will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont, NC. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband, Ted Terry, of Lancaster, one daughter Patricia Brooks Rachel and her husband Herb of Mint Hill, NC, one son, Jerry Brooks and his fiancé Rachael of Mount Holly, NC, two step-sons Tony Terry and his wife Sandra and Shawn Terry and his wife Rhonda, both of Kings Mountain, NC, and one step-daughter Mia Terry of Shelby, NC, one sister Linda Cox and her husband Carroll of Harrisburg, NC, five grandchildren Amber Brooks, Jerry Brooks Jr., Kylie Brooks, Michael Herrin, Brianna Stilwell and 2 great grandchildren Brayden Plyler and Logan Plyler; and a step granddaughter, Savannah Stepp. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her first husband Jerry Dean Brooks and two brothers Roy Wilson and Sam Wilson. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed life and had interest in several area. She loved to line dance and play bingo. Mrs. Brooks also enjoyed fishing and work in her flowers and garden. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
