Carol Albertha Hammond Kolb

Mrs. Carol Albertha Hammond Kolb, 78, of Lancaster, widower of James Frank Kolb, Sr., passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home. She was born June 15, 1941 in Lugoff, SC, a daughter of the late Allie Wynn Hammond and Charlotte Hawkins Hammond. Mrs. Kolb was a member of Union Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Kolb will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the graveside at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Catlin Rollins officiating. Mrs. Kolb is survived by two sons, Frank Kolb and Al Kolb both of Lancaster; a daughter, Renay Hammond of Lancaster; a brother, Bobby Hammond and his wife Runelle of Lexington, NC; three grandchildren, Christopher Kolb, Jamie Kolb and Elizabeth Hammond; and a great-grandchild, Trinity Kolb. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Hammond and Ed Hammond; and two sisters, Vee Barbee and Devere Griffin.
