Bobby Ray Blackwell

Mr. Bobby Ray Blackwell, 61, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Atrium Health-Main. He was born April 18, 1957 in Lancaster, a son of the late Johnny Lewis Blackwell, Sr. and Mary Brown Threatt Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was employed in the textile industry with Springs for 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoor life, especially fishing and gardening.Mr. Blackwell is survived by his wife, Carolyn R. Blackwell of Lancaster; a son, Michael R. Blackwell and his wife Shelley of Lancaster; a daughter, Karen E. Blackwell of Lancaster; three brothers, Johnny L. Blackwell, Jr. and his wife Dawn, James E. Blackwell and his wife Angie and Darrell W. Blackwell and his wife Teresa all of Lancaster; four sisters, Wanda Mahaffey and Libby King all of Lancaster, Dot Greene and her husband Kenny and Silva Greene and her husband Roger all of Lancaster; and three grandchildren, Ryan M. Blackwell, Natalie M. Huffman and Cheyenne A.
