Billy Marcell Rollings

Mr. Billy Marcell Rollings, 79, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1942 in Lancaster, a son of the late William Sylvester Rollings and Bleeka Mae Sims Rollings. Retired from the US Army (1961-1983), Mr. Rollings was a Life Member of the DAV. He was a Mason, Past Master and member of Jackson Lodge # 53, York Rites. Mr. Rollings was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church, where he had been in the Young Married Sunday School Class, had been served as an usher. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rollings will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Larry Linderman officiating. Burial with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Rollings is survived by two sons, Duane Allen Rollings and his wife Angie and William Marcell Rollings all of Lancaster; a brother, Hazel Rollings of Landis, NC; three grandchildren, Brittany Rollings, Zachary Rollings and Samantha Rollings Brewer; and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rollings was preceded in death by his step mother, Nannie Rollings; and a sister, Odessa Moree. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
