Mr. Billy Michael “Mike” Jowers, 61, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. He was born October 30, 1960 in Lancaster, a son of Billy Martin Jowers and the late Nancy Louise McCoy Jowers. Mr. Jowers enjoyed watching sports on TV, attending the Lancaster Speedway and fishing. He also loved to ride his great-nephews and niece around on the golf court. Mike loved his family and especially his son, Brent. He enjoyed life to the fullest.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jowers will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cotton Pate officiating. Entombment will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.Mr. Jowers is survived by a son, Brent Michael Jowers of Lancaster; his father, Billy Martin Jowers of Lancaster; three sisters, Sandra Jowers Griffin and her husband, Rick of Pageland, Marsha Jowers Reeves and Margaret Jowers McManus and her husband James all of Lancaster; his former wife, Karen Jo Threatt of Lancaster; and a brother-in-law, Ken Stacks of Lancaster.
