Betty Evans Crowe

Mrs. Betty Evans Crowe, 89, of Lancaster, widow of Jewell Odell Crowe, Sr., passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born August 26, 1928 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Marshall J. Evans and Blanche Thompson Evans. Mrs. Crowe was a member of Springdell Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Crowe will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3:30 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Crowe is survived by a daughter, Janice C. Dabney and her husband, Tommy of Lancaster; a son, James N. Caskey, III of Chapel Hill; a step daughter, Fran Elizabeth Baker and her husband Russ of Rock Hill; a step son, Jewell Odell Crowe, Jr. and his wife Kelli of Rock Hill; a brother, Jimmy Evans and his wife Peggy of Lancaster; a sister, Geraldine Plyler of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Pamela Trimnal and Alex Dabney; and five great grandchildren, Tyler Trimnal, Dabney Trimnal. Alexandra Trimnal, Tad Dabney and Allie Dabney.The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church and other times at the home of Janice and Tommy Dabney.Memorial contributions may be made to Springdell Baptist Church, 1420 Springdell Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Crowe.Read Obituary
