Betty Carol Mahaffey Perdue

Mrs. Betty Carol Mahaffey Perdue, 71, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home. She was born November 24, 1946 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Johnnie Heyward Mahaffey and Grace Wright Mahaffey. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to cook, sew, fish, and watch TV. She was an Atlanta Braves fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Perdue will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:30 pm at the graveside at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mitch Ingram officiating.Mrs. Perdue is survived by two daughters, Kelly Perdue and her companion Jeff Bryson of Jefferson and Melissa “Sissy” Perdue and her wife Lynn of Lancaster; four grandchildren, John Matthew Railey and his wife Tina, Amanda Grace Railey and her companion Larry, Andrea Faith Railey and her companion Scott, and Alexis Lynn Perdue; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, John, Jolaysia, Tristen, Jimmie, Jayden, Jasemine, Mariah, Michael and Cheyenne.
