Basil Ririe Tillman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Basil Ririe Tillman, 69, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare-Pineville. He was born January 16, 1952 in York, SC, a son of the late Leonard Tillman and Nancy Wilson Tillman. Mr. Tillman enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially liked to spend time with family and close friends. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Tillman will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church – Van Wyck with the Rev. Jay Dorman officiating. Burial will be in the Belair United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Tillman is survived by a son, Jody Tillman and his wife Miranda of Lancaster; a brother, Gene Tillman and his wife Shirley of Lancaster; a sister, Jerri Laney and her husband Charles of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Ashley Gantt and her husband Travis and Luke Tillman all of Lancaster; as well as a great-granddaughter, Payton Gantt. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernie Lee Tillman, Ririe Tillman and Marshall Tillman. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church – Van Wyck. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, 354 E. Rebound Road, Lancaster, SC 29720. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Tillman.
