Mrs. Annie Ruth Tinker Langley, 82, of Jefferson, widow of Vernon Langley, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at her home. She was born February 18, 1938 in Union, SC, a daughter of the late Lawrence Tinker and Wilma Crawford Tinker.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Langley will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. from the graveside at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Joel Dale officiating. Mrs. Langley is survived by two sons, Curtis Langley and his wife Patsy of Pageland and Tommy Langley and his wife Carol of Kershaw; three daughters, Sherry Nivens of Rock Hill, Janis Padgett and her husband David and Sally Cox all of Jefferson; two brothers, Jimmy Tinker and his wife Rhoda and David Tinker all of Rock Hill; a sister, Bea Surratt and her husband Jimmy of Rock Hill; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrie Langley; a brother, Charles Tinker; and five sisters, Polly Patterson, Margaret Rowell, Euretha Gordon, Martha Jane Helms and Robbie Ballard.The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sally Cox.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Langley.
