I did not know of Ann's passing until I read it in the Charlotte Observer Wednesday morning. It breaks my heart that I did not get to attend her funeral. Ann sang at my
wedding on April 17, 1955. She was a special lady. Lynn Melton
So sorry to hear about Ann's passing. May She Rest in Peace. Our condolences to the family !!!
Sometimes there really are no words to express and capture just how uniquely wonderful having a true friend like Ann has been. Supportive, funny and understanding are just a few characteristics she embodied so well. First a friend of my Mother's, I am forever grateful for her influence in my Mother's life and then in my own. We enjoyed several laughs and good times every time we spoke and especially at our birthday club luncheons. Ann helped host my wedding shower and has always been a kind influence on those fortunate enough to know her. She loved all people and wanted to make everyone's life better. Her actions proved how much she adored her family, friends, church and community. I will always remember her warm smile and bright blue eyes. Ann was an incredible person who will be greatly missed.
Prayers and sympathy to Ann’s family and friends. She was a sweet lady and leaves a great legacy. She will be missed. 💕 Rest In Peace
Beth and Family,
We did not have the opportunity to know your mother. However, we knew you, Beth, in high school and remember you fondly. We are sorry for your loss and pray for you as you adjust to life on earth without her and await that glad reunion day in Heaven for those of us who, as she did, accept JESUS as our PERSONAL LORD and SAVIOR.
