Mr. Albert Lee “Al” Davis, Jr., 76, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was born January 14, 1945 in Lancaster, a son of the late Albert Lee Davis, Sr. and Jessie Lee Roberts Davis.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Davis will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Chad Eric Davis officiating.Mr. Davis is survived by two sons, Shane Bell and his wife Hope of Rock Hill and Chad Davis of Gastonia; two daughters, Heather Tucker and her husband Dwayne of Catawba and Lisa Thomasson of Rock Hill; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Emily Gilbert, Dora Elaine Hensley (Ronald), of Lancaster, Janet Teresa Lambert (Jerry Lee) of Ocean Isle, NC and Sherrie Lynn (Tim) also of Lancaster; three brothers, Charles Wayne Davis (Gale) of Fort Lawn, Marion “Pete” Davis of York, and Sherrill Timothy Davis of Rock Hill; a half-brother, Cecil Rawlison (Laura) of Alva, Florida; a number of nieces and nephews; and his best friend and caretakers, Kim Williams and Jodi Bowker. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Micky Davis and Kendrick Davis.The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Davis.Read Obituary
