William Page "Bill" Barrett

Mr. William Page “Bill” Barrett, 67, of Lancaster, widower of Barbara Barrett, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born September 1, 1948 in Lancaster, a son of the late Page Cauthen Barrett and Helen Phillips Barrett. A US Army Veteran, Mr. Barrett was a loving father, grandfather, brother, companion and friend. He loved fishing, camping and exploring with his metal detector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working with his flowers.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Barrett will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Robinson and Rev. Cliff Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Barrett is survived by a daughter, Lisa Smith and her husband Chris of Pageland; three brothers, Mike Barrett and his wife Joan, George, and Terry Barrett all of Lancaster; three sisters, Diane Baker and her husband Jimmy, Darlene Craig and her husband Luke, and Debbie White, all of Lancaster; a grandson, Tanner Smith; and his companion, Teresa Puckett of Lancaster. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Barrett; and a sister, Daphene Jenkins.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mike and Joan Barrett, 963 Shiloh Unity Road, Lancaster.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Barrett.Read Obituary
