Thomas Lee Snipes

Mr. Thomas Lee Snipes, 73, of Lancaster, widower of Doris Steele Snipes, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his home. He was born August 14, 1943 in Lancaster, a son of the late James Snipes and Mary Sowell Snipes. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved working in the yard with his birds, chickens and flowers and spending time with family and friends.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Snipes will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with military honors. The Rev. Tim Larrimore will officiate.Mr. Snipes is survived by a son, Tony Snipes and his wife Nancy of Lancaster; a brother, Wayne Snipes and his wife Carolyn of Lancaster; a sister, Betty Boykin of Lancaster; and a granddaughter, Meagan Snipes.The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Free Will Baptist Church – Youth Fund, PO Box 2094, Lancaster, SC 29721.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Snipes.Read Obituary
