Theresa Houghtaling Yeargin

Mrs. Theresa Houghtaling Yeargin, 59, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. She was born November 8, 1957 in Sumter, a daughter of the late Claude Rene Houghtaling and Grace Rowell Houghtaling. Mrs. Yeargin was a member of Second Baptist Church.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Yeargin will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2 pm at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mrs. Yeargin is survived by her husband, Steve Yeargin of Lancaster; a son, Steve Yeargin, Jr. of Greenville; two brothers, Steve Houghtaling of Lancaster and Jim Houghtaling of Greenville; three grandchildren, Sarah Yeargin, Stephanie Yeargin and Samantha Yeargin; one great-grandchild, Rylan Yeargin; and four nieces and nephews, Rodney Houghtaling, Michelle Houghtaling, Will Houghtaling and Alaina Houghtaling.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Second Baptist Church and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made to SC Autism Society, 806 12th Street, West Columbia, SC 29169.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Yeargin.Read Obituary
