Shirley Watson Harzewski

Mrs. Shirley Harzewski, 81, widow of Vincent Harzewski, of Lancaster passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home. She was born March 28 1937 in Buffalo NY, a daughter of the late Robert Frances Watson and Mary Koposi Watson. She was of the Catholic faith. Shirley was retired from the Chicago Title in Buffalo, NY. She was an avid crafts person especially needle point, and won Ribbons for her work at the Erie County Fair. She loved gardening. She loved her dogs and cats, especially her constant companion Baby, a fuzzy Pekingese who loved to keep her company. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Harzewski will be held Wednesday April 18, at 2pm at the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Harzewski is survived by three sons, Vincent Harzewski and his wife Becky of Buffalo, NY, Alan Harzewski and his wife Bonnie of Dixmont Maine, and Peter Harzewski and his wife Kirsten of Ossining, NY; a brother Robert Watson and his wife Millie of Boston Hills, NY; a sister Mary Reimers and her husband William of Lancaster; Grandchildren Elizabeth Harzewski, Matthew Harzewski, Jacob Harzewski, Nathaniel Harzewski, Nicholas Harzewski, Daniel Harzewski, and Alex Carrazzone.In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Anna Herzewski.
