Rufus Allen Faulkenberry

Mr. Rufus Allen Faulkenberry, 55, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born October 20, 1958 in Lancaster, a son of the late Claude Truesdale Faulkenberry and Sarah Ann McCrae Faulkenberry. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Faulkenberry will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike O'Neal officiating. Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by a son, Joseph Allen Faulkenberry and his wife Candise of Lancaster; a daughter, Ashley Nichole Powell of Clarks Hill, SC; three brothers, Marion Boswell, Jimmy Boswell, and Claude “Red” Faulkenberry and his wife Elaine all of Lancaster; a sister, Libby Peach and her husband Carlton of Lancaster; and four grandchildren, John Michael Powell, Baili LeAnn Powell, Jordan Taylor Faulkenberry and McKenzie Anne Faulkenberry. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
