Ronald Eugene Jordan

Mr. Ronald Eugene Jordan, 64, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home. He was born August 8, 1950 in Lancaster, a son of Betty Lee Adams Polston and the late Baxter Eugene Jordan. He was a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle. Mr. Jordan was a U.S. Marine having served in Vietnam. He was an avid Gamecocks fan, and loved fishing. He also enjoyed making walking sticks and wood carving, and he was always tinkering with things and watching Braves baseball games. He was an Eagle Scout and former member of the Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Jordan loved life and lived it to the fullest.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jordan will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2 pm at in the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Mingo officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife Margaret B. Jordan of Lancaster; his mother Betty Lee Polston of Moore, S.C.; two sisters Jeanine Hall and her husband David of Lancaster; Becky Linder and her husband Arnold of Spartanburg. Brothers in laws Sonny Bailey and his wife Ann, James Ray Bailey, and James Boone all of Lancaster; Sister in laws Vanessa Bailey of Lancaster and Lisa Sanders and her husband Moses of Rock Hill; a special niece O’Leasha Woods of Rock Hill and a special friend Rick Barnes of Abbeville, SC; Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Ray Jordan.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at his home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Jordan.Read Obituary
