Robert Lee Hinson

Mr. Robert Lee Hinson, 82, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1932 in Lancaster, a son of the late Ira Lee Hinson and Bertha Mae Williams Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hinson will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11 am at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Bessie Lee Phillips Hinson of Lancaster; three sons, Eric Hinson and his wife Katherine of Clover, Chris Ira Hinson and his wife Amy M. of Culpeper, VA and Kyle Hinson and his wife Kim of Myrtle Beach; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hinson.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Immanuel Baptist Church and other times at the home on 137 Woodside Lane, Lancaster, SC.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Hinson.Read Obituary
