Richard Allen Clemmer

Mr. Richard Allen Clemmer, 82, of Lancaster passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at his home. He was born April 30, 1935 in Kannapolis, NC, a son of the late David Windsor Clemmer and Lillie Belle Roach Clemmer. Mr. Clemmer was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and had retired from the US Air Force.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Clemmer will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at 1 pm at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Marty Simmons officiating. Inurnment will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum with Military Honors.Mr. Clemmer is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jordan Clemmer; his children, Crystal Haynes and her husband Randy, Steven Douglas Clemmer and his wife Susan, Timothy A. Clemmer and his wife Teresa and Elizabeth Bowers and her husband Jamie all of Lancaster; a brother, Donald W. Clemmer and his wife Reba of Lancaster; a sister, Pearlene Sanders and her husband Bert of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
