Mrs. Patricia Ann Rape Hyatt, 76, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her home. She was born July 3, 1941 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Charles Pershing Rape and Bertha Cauthen Rape and was married to Gerald Curtis Hyatt. Mrs. Hyatt was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.The family is hosting a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hyatt on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Birchfield officiating.Mrs. Hyatt is survived by her husband, Gerald Curtis Hyatt of the home; her son Bryan Hyatt and his wife Brenda of Lancaster; her daughter Shari Hyatt Outlaw of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Christie Austin (J.R.), Joshua Hyatt, Jeffrey Hyatt (Billie), Mandy Osornio (Kaleb) and Jessica Outlaw; and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Devin Ray; two brothers, Randall Rape and Clark Rape; and four sisters, Margaret Yarborough, Vickie Hannah, Phyllis Rape, and Jean Barrineau.The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 1809 Bennett Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Hyatt.
